New starters out of 2km eggs
Here they are on the new egg hatch list but I've yet to hatch one of them. I incubate 9 eggs all the time and I walk 10-15km every day.
Any evidence in form of a hatch animation gif / video from one of you guys?

Starters are not in eggs at this point, also there are other mons not added (like Houndour) and some others removed (like Magikarp).
At this point is just a guess but after knowing there is a "big" update coming each trimester of this current year my guess is that breeding is close, so we will be able to get those "removed" mon from eggs by breeding. There is no other reason to put gender differences with gen2 release than breeding.
