Legacy Alakazam C/DG

I know that Alakazam is a bad defender, but is this actually the best defensive moveset for an Alakazam?

Giving the impressive attack stat he has, I'm pretty sure a 2500+ CP Alakazam in a Gym can be a pain for some not very high lvl trainers and wipe out a mon or two.
