Another Dragonite Dilemma Question
I apologize for throwing another one of these questions out there, so I will try to keep this question as concise as possible.
My situation is this: I am currently sitting on 382 Dratini candies (loooooooots of cold walks along Chicago's waterfronts), plenty of stardust (been saving up!), 3 high IV Dratinis and two Dragonites that might have potential:
1) 89IV - 1808 CP - DB/ DP: B move set. Would need 148 candies to get it to max (3291 CP)
2) 35IV - 738 CP - DB/DC: AAA move set caught in the wild. 182 Candies to max it to 3065 CP.
There is also the option of evolving any or all of three of the good Dratinis I have for the new move sets. However, it is becoming more and more obvious based on insight from replies to these kinds of questions that the new move sets are vastly inferior to the legacy sets.
So, how would you guys spend the candies I have under the current circumstances?

To start with, I'm taking it from the finished CP that "to its max" would be several levels over 30. That is a very expensive maneuver. I would do number one or number two (maybe) but only to around level 30 or so which I think would change that cost to 110 candies or so from 148 for number one.Then I would evolve two more. The new DT move is pretty good as is Outrage. Do you have any offensive dragonites in your roster already? Or defensive ones?
So it seems the concensus is to power up the DB/DP and use the rest for evolutions. I was leaning that way but it is definitely good to hear some feedback.
Couple other things. Should I wait to do all of this until the power rankings come out on this site and factor that information, as well, or do you think this is just what it's going to be?
Also, anyone reading tea leaves regarding trades? I do have a friend offering me a 1030ish cp 98iv DB/DC for dinner and drinks (in other words, i pay for one of our weekends...) that would probably needs those candies... is it far enough off (you know, if it ever happens...) to be able to farm more or is it imminent and I should be ready? I can probably farm about 12 candies or so a week these days factoring in burnout (just can't walk that much anymore...), reduced spawning because of gen 2 and pinab berries ...
EDIT: Forget what I said about reduced tini spawns... seems they are hatching and spawning more now!
