What Biome do you live in that spawns Larvitar

I live in a Water biome. The good thing is it spawns 1-2 Dratini on average per day. The bad thing? Since gen2 launched, I've never seen a Larvitar, nor has any of my friends living nearby.
I don't even hope for getting a good IV/move set Tyranitar now. Just let me fill my dex please...
I know that Rock biome has the highest chance of spawning Larvitar. But how about other biomes? Does anyone see DAILY Larvitar in his/her biome yet it is NOT a Rock biome? I'd probably will go to other places to try my luck.

Seems to be spawning regularly all around San Diego and the surrounding cities / areas. I've got friends out there who have Tyranitars already lol.

I also live in a water / grass biome and rock Pokemon have always been annoying to find. But I did find a trick to locating a few, I live near a coast so traveling on along rugged coast lines tends bring up a few rock type. I've seen one larvitar on nearby but couldn't get to it Iin time.

Rock Pokemon supposedly spawn around large buildings and architecture but I haven't found a reliable place like that yet.

Seen them the past 2 days where clefairy/nidoran/dragonites spawned during gen 1.

Now it's dunsparce/wooper/houndour/random grass. Hope that helps.

Mars, Saturn...somewhere out there.

I've caught a lot of Gen2. 56 towards the Johto gold medal. Including my Corsola, Heracrosses, and Yama galore (I live in Tampa Florida), but I'd trade these near-unobtainable mons for some form of larvitars around here!

I'm on holiday in a Rock biome (common mons are Geodude, Ekans, Growlithe, Snubbull, Sandshrew) and I've seen some on sightings.

In my usual Grass home biome they're probably non-existing.
