As a frequently rural player, a large part of my 'mons and candy (the best ones) come from eggs so I wonder if it's confirmed that we can't hatch Sunkern, Unown and Houndour ?

Sunkern is obviously not my priority, I only need one then walk I don't mind that much, but i'd like to have a good Houndour...
"Unown is supposed to be super rare anyway" Ok but I lost sight of what "very rare" means : for example I only hatch 1 lapras in 1181 eggs you mean it could be rarer than that if it was in egg ? ^^
Mm, I guess its something like
Unown - Super rare, like less than 1 at a time spawning
Snorlax, Lapras, Mareep - Very rare, a few spawning at a time
Dratini, Larvitar - Rare - several spawning at a time
Something like that
then you have the average pokemon where i would put 90% of them including the starters.. and then you get the common pokemon like the ones that can be ditto, even rural areas have a pidgey or two
Edit: with that being said - sunkern and houndoom are pretty average, it just so happens you live in the wrong biome for them to spawn for example
