What is Ursaring's best moveset?
Evolved my level 29-30Teddy Bear got a 2310 Ursaring. Sadly the moveset was Counter/ Hyper Beam. I wanted 2 fighting moves to deal with Snorlax and Blissey as a poor man's Machamp, but it's slightly better than Play Rough I guess?

When fighting against Normal type, Ursaring with Close Combat will do 1.25x cuz is super effective, so:
True_DPSx1.25 = 51.74x1.25 = 64.675 Weakness_DPS.
With Hyper Beam you got STAB, but not super effective against Snorlax or Blissey, so:
True_DPS = 58.42 DPS (stab included).
Dunno if this is correct, but if yes, Close Combat is slightly better (6 dps) if used in Pokémon who have weakness to Fight type and not to Normal type (as he said, he wanted to use to kill Snorlaxes and Blisseys).
DPS is a misleading statistic for charge attacks.
With HyperBeam, you can do 150 damage in 3.8 seconds (its cooldown time). Close Combat does 125 (100+25% STAB) in 2.3 seconds, and then you can get off an extra 1.5 fast attacks in that extra 1.5 seconds for an additional 24 damage (with counter, 12 +25% = 16 per hit, times 1.5). So they're fairly even in that respect.
In any case, despite it's typing, Ursaring doesn't look like it'll be that great of a Snorlax/Blissey prestiger/fighter. Whatever gains you get from having fighting attacks can be matched by literally anything else that has STAB attacks (and possibly stronger attacks/better stat balance). There was something posted on TSR recently with fighting ability/prestiging efficiency against the top 7 or so defenders, and Ursaring doesn't rank particularly high in anything.
