Blissey moveset

Hi, I just evolved my 82% Chansey to get a blissey with ZH HB. Should I power her up or better wait for ZH DG?

I'm still not sure which is better, because although HB is easier to dodge, it still hurts a lot even if dodged, and if not is nearly game over, but DG happens very frequently and if you dodge them all then it is timeout...

so.. which one is better?

Thanks!!!

Honestly, it doesn't matter, DG is probably better, but not by a lot and real advantage of blissey as a defender is her HP and high CP wich will have her sit high very high in gyms.

I think hyper beam is still going to be the best defending charge move for her. Animation has changed, so it will hit more frequently. Highest DPS and gets STAB.

As for the fast move, statistically pound is still better than ZH because of STAB. That being said, most trainers will try to use a fighting type against her. The psychic moves will be super effective and be great counters.

I would wait until more research is done on new best defenders, attackers and their movesets before using any candy and stardust on power ups.

For attackers it makes sense to get the STAB ones, but for defenders you wanna counter your weakness.. much like Blastoise's Ice Beam, as people might atk him with grass

Pound is only better for attacking. Zen headbutt does more damage per attack, even after STAB is accounted for. Zen headbutt is the better defensive quick move.

I would power her up. Whether it's the best or not, she has a good moveset. And whatever her moveset, she's a real tank.

ZH > Pound on Defense even with Stab

The GYM AI adds 1.5-2.5 to moves so most people add 2 seconds to Defender Cooldown.

This benefits slower moves for easy example if you added 2 seconds to a 1 second move, you just reduced its dps by 1/3

If you add 2 seconds to a 2 second move, you just reduced its dps by 1/2

Even factoring in Stab bonus, ZH comes out slightly ahead when you add 2 seconds to cooldown and redivide

That said, the difference isn't large enough to really matter much

Depends how long it takes you to accumulate chansey candy.
