Summer Event

I think there should be a summer Event, and the Pokémon that become available are the alolan forms from Sun and Moon. And if there are stat differences between standard and alolan in S&M, then calculate the stats and cp accordingly (For example: standard Raichu- atk=193, def=165; alolan raichu- atk=201, def=172)

I don't know any Pokemon beyond ruby and sapphire. Would really not like to see these forms that soon. Just my humble opinion which is totally not influenced by nostalgic feeling ;D

Haha, honestly, you don't need to know that many Pokémon beyond gen 3. Though gen 4 is pretty cool. Gen 5 just sucked. Good story, not so good Pokémon.

They just feel like weird creations to me unfortanetely :(. That's of course just because I never played those games on the game boy.

Also all these mega evolutions devaluate the Pokemon in my opinion. But oh well, by the time they introduce them it's gonna be the year 2133 and I'm probably not playing anymore :D

I have no issue with a 'Summer Event' (which will actually be a Winter event in my part of the world)...but I just think it is a little early to be asking for 'more'.

There is a long way to go until something even from gen 3, 7 is impossible for now. Unless Nintendo really pressure niantic to help on the promotion of the 7 generation when they start selling Nintendo switch.

They've already started working on the gen 7 Pokémon. You can find it somewhere on the site. Though you are right, maybe save that event for when gen 7 comes out.
