Are Heracross catchable in Miami?

Picking up my son at school in 2 months. Have people seen Heracross in Miami or does one need to be in the Keys?

I think that it's not 100% confirmed, but Heracross seems to be catchable woldwide, but has a much smaller spawn rate outside of South America:
