Groudon: still a PVP king?

Caught a good Groudon during its recent run and have been slowly powering it up. The plan was to use it with my Lugia as two parts of my main Master league team... And then the changes hit.

I don't play much pvp currently, so I have to ask: is Groudon still considered a stellar Master league 'mon? Would just figure if I raised it just in time to find out it's already a has-been.
