Ho-oh with fire hidden power

Just TM'd my Ho-oh into a fire hidden power. Does anyone know if this makes him a good fire attacker on par with Moltres/Entei?

He cant compete even Flareon. It makes its more useful and tanky counter vs Bug and Grass, but thats all.

Absolutely. Go check out the damage spreadsheet. It is now on par with the highest TDO for fire-typing, Entei. Additionally, it has Solar Beam which is effective to water pokemon.

Did you check the spreadsheet? Ho-Oh's DPS is closer to Rapidash and Magmar than it is to any real fire attacker. TDO is nice if it's tied to high DPS, but Ho-Oh doesn't have high DPS.

Not even nearly on par. It's tanky, but the DPS is low. You're better off using Flareon, or even Houndoom or Magmortar.
