Bagon

Have people seen Bagons in the wild during the event? I have caught 5 Ralts and 2 Beldum but not Bagon at all. Just wondering.

None for me.

If it's worth anything, I've personally seen more Bagons before the Hoenn event mostly on windy days. It's ironic, that I've haven't seen a single one since the event started.

I havent seen any, and its been windy where I am.

This makes me think either niantic royally screwed up, again. Or they dint want us over stocking ourselves with salamence for a possible CD/palkia raids.

I haven't seen any, but just about everything else, even lunatone have been everywhere, this seems like an intentional spawn decrease. In the johto and kanto events, those pseudo legendary Pokemon were boosted, and even now beldum seemingly is too, Bagons the only one that is nt

I've been seeing the same low background spawns of Beldum and ralts as I normally do. I assume slakoth is boosted as people outside my biome are reporting more (I'm used to seeing 1 a day or so across all my roaming] and obviously Trapinch is.

Not seeing more Lotad or Cacnea, so they can't all be boosted in proportion. (I already saw constant Shroomish but now they're in clusters of 3-4 instead of 1-2).

Ive seen a few cactus and lotad, though that was only due in part to my discord pointing them out, managed to nab a 98%'er for whenever the cascade badge happens.

beldum and ralts have been more common, at least for me in the event because of my biome, I think. We seem to get a lot more psychic types (collage campus, residence halls) so its largely the perfect beldum area so ive heard. Im a bit disappointed no bagon seemingly (we've actually had more dratini spotted), its one of my favorites.

WTF .... If Niantic was even remotely concerned with our candy hoards before a CD day we certainly wouldn’t be getting a Swinub day... seriously do you know of anyone without a least 1000 candy!?!?! And just in case you haven’t figured out the pattern yet Niantic floods the game just before and or during tier 5 raid bosses run with at least one counter...might not be the surpreme counter or even in top 3 but it’s definitely something cheap and viable... or did you think Grass knot Brelloom now or Gengar day just before altered form Giratina were just happy coincidence?!? Sooo please keep your tinfoil conspiracy theories to yourself

I can't honestly remember the last time I saw a wild Bagon.

Thanks to everyone for the replies. I picked up a catch a dragon for rare candy task and was thinking...I have not seen any bagon, this is a lost cause so I figured I would see if I am unlucky or if the community has also not seen them. Thanks again.

I'd hold onto it, unless you like somewhere stops are scarce/are holding onto tasks like three excellent throws In a row/hatch 5 eggs and only got 5+k eggs. Ive deleted a few of those and later that day found a wild dratini or bagon, or found Eggtree was a raid boss. No worse feeling than loosing a guaranteed dratini or extra RC.

I had one for over a week, I was hoping for a wild Vibrava or Altaria, as well as Bagon, but when the Feebas Research Day happened, I dumped it for quest room.

There's also a small possibility that raids might start to include some other Gen3 Legendaries (Ray, Lati@s, etc.) which are dragons, but betting on that is like flying to Vegas with the plan to win the money for the plane tickets home, ....

Funny you mention this. I talked to my sister about this today she's seen 3 and i've seen 2. but we've had to actively hunt from them in windy wether (which is not very common) but relatively to slackoth and ralts its not a ton.
