What's the best way to organize the pokemons?

What kind of naming do you use to know which pokemon is better?

  1. Letter a or d in the end to indicate attack or defence moveset
  2. Slightly modified original name to indicate quick move, i.e. Drabonite (breath) or Dragonite (steel wing), Poundzee (pound) or Drowzee (confusion)
  3. Sometimes directly moves as the name of the pokemon (less used pokemon and ones with moves I can't remember)

Also, I have favorited few best attacking pokemons (star means it's good attacker and should not be placed on a gym).
Then I sort them by favorite: now easy to choose attacking pokemons cause they are the first, and on the other hand if I wish to place a pokemon in the gym I scroll down where favorites end and then choose any with high cp.

Nice. I've been adding A and D to the name and staring wonder pokemons. Now I have to organize the type of of the attack.

I use an asterisk on my good ones so they go to the top, and end with IVs. Sometimes change name to remember moves.

I would like use Unicode symbol to indicate moveset or IV. But my iOS 10 doesn't support that.

I try to keep it simple. For example best offensive moveset name stays original, but my lapras with dragon pulse is Lapulse. It's probably best to keep it vague, when you put the pokemon to defend, everyone would know its moves right away
