Useless Pokemons

Does anyone know of an article regarding your overflowing pokedex.
I'm having the luxury problem of so many mons I'm having a hard time going through them when selecting for gym battles.

This is especially true for the lesser moveset mons and the low rating ones.
What to you generally do? Do you transfer the 12 82%+ Hypnos with poor movesets and keep the 4 82%+ with good ones. How about Kringler or Marowak and so on. I have alot of these wonders but only a few with good movesets, but can't get myself to transfer wonder pokemons because they might be useful later? or not? I'm not into the lore so much so I have a limited knowledge if something that is useless now can be evolved later when other generations arrive.

Anyone have links to articles or their own thoughts on this?

I keep only 1 of these pokemon, just pick the best one overall, generally i go for the highest IV one

I keep all Hypnos with attacking moveset (IV irrelevant), because they are the very best universal prestigers at all.

Cool - what about any use for Beedrill? Venomoth? Or any other candidates for least useful (if others can do their job as well or better...)

Beedrill good vs. exeguttor
Veno same, but a bit ubder due to psychic effectivnes, miss a dodge and you lose.
Both of the above with both bug moves.
