Dark-type Granbull

I do not have many great dark-type attackers. Is a Granbull with Snarl/Cruch a decent attacker (or maybe a defender)? Could you see yourself using it in battles or raids instead of a double-dark Houndoom or Umbreon?

It could be a nasty surprise for gym defending and also in raids. In PVP however, it leaves a lot to be desired, even Cacturne is better at that. Go for it if you don't have anything else.

For raids, you're better off using Ghost types like Gengar, Banette, and Mismagius. Even Haunter would be better than Granbull. You can also use Scizzor and Pinsir as bug types. Dark types you're better off with Houndoom and even Shiftry.
You could use Tyranitar with any combo of movesets and it would be better than Granbull.
