Swampert for Ultra League
Is Swampert worth investing for Ultra League?
I have a Mudkip level 20 that can get 2493 CP at level 29.5 (IVs 15-13-15 for A/D/S). It would cost 70k dust and 186 candies (and 10k dust and 25 candies to unlock the 2nd charge move).
I've been thinking about evolving and powering it up. Good typing, good moveset (the god-tier EPT Mud Shot, the powerful EQ, spammable Surf, and Sludge Wave to take care of grass pokemon) and he also can serve well against Heatran with Mud Shot + EQ. I have candies to spare, indeed my problem is dust (my stock is around 350k at the moment).
Had anyone tried using it? Is it any good for PvP (and Heatran raids)? Please share here. :)

Swamper it, from what ive heard, Great for ultra league, but i'd recommend holding off on evolving. hydro cannon is a fantastic move, and once that move comes out for it on its CD, with should be in about 6 months, you'll want to have had those good IV's and that amount of candy for evolving it to get the move.
That and theres not much of a reward for PvP aside form dust and possibly a sinnoh stone. If the rewards were something liek winning nets some amount of rarecandy of tm's or species speficic candy, or some tournament with good rewards come out, i'd recommend it, but as the rewards presently are stones and dust in limited amounts, I dont see investing candy and dust int one of potentially the best water types before it gets the moves that gives it that potential.
Mudshot/earthquake isnt going anywhere you will be able to get that any time, but hydro cannon will be timelocked, you can also get both EQ and HC on the same swamper in the future.
It's a great PvP investment with MS/EQ + the second move of your choice that can double as a heatran counter. Keep in mind it may not reach optimal counter status at optimal PvP levels. On this one, I suggest ignoring the naysayers who say hold off - it has multiple specific uses as is, and you're sure to hatch and catch more Mudkips before July.
