Sneasel: Dark or Ice?
I used my second Sinnoh stone on a 15/14/13 Sneasel, which got IS/Av. With only enough candy to power it up to level 30, should I keep these moves or switch to FA/FP (I have 39 FTMs and 35 CTMs)? Sneasel is not bulky enough to destroy flying dragons in gyms, but Mamoswine and Glaceon are not yet here.

(My other Tyranitars have SD. For Cresselia, I also have two L30 Gengars - Lk/Sh, 14/14/15 and SC/Sh, 13/15/13 - leading my team.)

L30 Walrein, FB/Bd, 13/12/12
L30 Cloyster, FB/Av, 15/13/15
L30 Jynx, FB/IP, 10/14/14
(I also use my L30 Gardevoir, Cn/DG, 15/13/15 for slaying dragons and have a perfect Mewtwo with PC/IB, but yet to power it up.)

If I had enough Sinnoh Stones, I would immediately evolve another two Rhyhorns, a 96% Electabuzz and a perfect Magmar. (Still lacking a good Roselia and Togetic candy.) Three Swinubs, two Eevees, two Magnemites and a perfect Tangela are ready to power up once their evolutions are released. Wonder how many CTMs they will need.
I used my first stone on a Porygon-Z and my 2nd on a Gliscor. So I don't see the rush, these new gen 4s aren't making or breaking a raid. I would just leave the Weavile as-is (level and moves) and put something toward the Mewtwo. If you are that conservative about powering up anything above level 30, just flip the powered Mewtwo's moves when it could help.
BTW: Next I'm going to do a level 3 shiny Murkrow.
Dark seems better.
1. It's immediately usable
2. It will be one of your top 6 (as you're not full of SC/Lick Gengar or SB Mewtwo).
3. Ice will get outclassed before it's needed, assuming Gen 4 finishes coming out by Christmas.
Reason not to: it already got the ice set, you don't need to waste a TM on it (and your existing vs Psychic team is already good enough).
I used my first Sinnoh stone on a 98% Sneasel, switched it to double-dark, and powered it up to level 40. So far in 2 Cresselia raids, it has been a noticeably good addition to my team (which has 3 Attack 15/Bi/Cr Ttars at level 40 and 2 PC/SB Mewtwo at level 38), including one 5 person raid where 2 of the other trainers were below level 30. (We won with 30 seconds left)
I've been quite happy with my choice so far. And with the number of TM's that you have, you can easily switch from Ice to Dark and back when you need to, so the question is more of should you power it up to level 30? And I'd say yes to that.
Don't wanna be rude, but imo, i know soon i will be throwing sinnoh stones away, so choose the one you like the most, i know that because that happend with evo itens and TM, i was always thinking wich pokemon to evolve or tp TM and now i have more than i can use, i've discarted over a 100 of those itens by now. i'm free to play
