False strike notice
My wife just got a first strike notice when she logged into Pokemon Go. We cannot figure out why she would have gotten one. She does not spoof, has just one account, and as far as we can determine follows all of the rules. Does anyone know whether there have been a spate of false positives with regard to strike notices? The only thing we came up with was that she sometimes checks her Pokemon IV's on PokeGenie. Is sending a screen shot to that app violating Niantic policy? Thanks for any insight.

I also just got a strike, and didn‘t do anything! I had the game open when I drove to work this morning, and then put it in Standby, checked a bit later for the Adventure Sync rewards, and just now in my break, decided to reload the app, just to be presented with this message. I may have had a bit GPS drifting, but nothing serious, only like 2 or 3 houses far, but got back immediately. Could it come from cheesing Adventure Sync by shaking your mobile device? I did that yesterday for about 4 kilometers to ensure I can get the 50KM reward, but nothing else really...
I think it's Poke Genie. I received the same warning a month ago, after using this app during a week. I stopped using it, although I didnt find any report confirming Poke Genie as a problemático app. I started using it again somedays ago and no problem so far... I guess that if you only check IVS, there is no way that Niantic detects its use. However, other features of the App can be detecte.
