Lol I thought I was the only one who had noticed this. It is very outdated. I don't remember if it was introduced from the start, but it does seem like they full on forgot about this feature and neglected to update it with more "tips" relevant to the game as it stands today. It definetely has a lot of potential to explain hidden features to new players but oh well...

Tips page in PoGo..
The tips page right above the news button Is totally useless. It's literally just telling you how a PojeStop works. I personally don't need tips but I think Niantic should add better tips.
