What a ride! Shall we recap everything that has happened with these two?

Coming out of the left field on Chikorita's Day, it garnered a variety of different reactions. Opinions on it's design aside, it's mission was to get people talking and interested in what was soon to come and it succeeded. Around two weeks ago, it's evolution was released. Once again, design opinions aside, it succeeded it's mission in getting people intrigued. By now, due to the advertisement of Niantic and The Pokemon Company, it's pretty obvious that it's part of the marketing plan to sell Let's Go Pika&Eevee.

Now on to the final part. Some days ago, it's stats and moveset were all leaked prior to the release of Let's Go. And... it was surprising to say the least. Personally, I thought it was going to be quite good due to the hype of both companies as well as being a new pokemon, but... Turns out not only is it looking to be terrible in Pokemon Go, but it's also pretty damn trash in the Main Series. Sure Iron Fist and Double Iron Bash(flinch) look good, but what good is it with a Speed Stat of 34 (aside from Trick Room strats but lol).

What has been everyone else's opinion on everything regarding these two? Personally, I'm not interested in it at all. Coupled with the fact that it's currently locked behind a paywall... Yeah. I'm pretty glad it's bad. I'll just take my Metagross and soon Dialga and be fine.

Edit: It's also interesting to note that yesterday it was #3 on the most popular pokemon list, but today it dropped all the way to #9. It probably won't even make the list tomorrow.
