I realize these should be gone by now, but 3 hr raids dont actually start a 3 hr timer until someone sees them on nearby. You could use this to solo Moltres as they'd get a 5 min timer for a 4* raid if you entered lobby after initial 3 hrs.

Possible speculation includes:

- Raid day raids only spawn when the first player "sees" the gym. Players can trigger rural gyms later this way.
- Unannounced extension for APAC region to compensate for server problems at tye beginning of the event.
- A bug due to Gengar being in the regular raid pool.
