Gengar Raids: What tier?
The news doesn't say anything about the tier, so I'm guessing it's still Tier 3, but the photo shows Tier 4 Gengar raids.

If it does change, I would guess a tier 4. No reason to make it all the way to a tier 5. It will be a fun challenge though to Duo it. Six Gengar raids for free with a chance of shiny is fun. But this will not make Niantic money. They need to start making some changes soon or they may be in trouble. Losing sponsors, player base dropping, spoofers coming back. I lost out on a Deoxys raid the other day, I showed up with like 20 minutes to spare. My phone kept erroring out the entire 20 MINUTES. I reported it to Niantic and they said there is nothing they can do. This is a company with HORRIBLE customer service, and don’t care about the player base at all. We have been crying out for a Shadow Claw Gengar (I have been playing sine day one and had to trade for one) and this is what they give us.
Is it really that hard to listen to paying customers?
Niantic gave Gengar literally everything except what people were asking for. People wanted Shadow Claw back, what we got instead was a three hour exclusive flavor move with no viability at all and a shiny that's basically identical to the main. Personally I'm not too burned, I already have one Shadow Claw Gengar I've gotten a lot of mileage out of and that's good enough for me.
