I would advise you to do the same. No rush for a Salamance anyways. With one bar Draco meteor it likely won't get off charge moves consistently enough in RayQ raids even if he does return.

Wait for CD. Haste makes waste.

It happened to me with a 100% mudkip...as much as i want to have the perfect Swampert now, knowing that in the future it will get a CD move guaranteed (like all the pseudolegendary pokemon like Bagon propably) that will greatly improve it's power i just have to wait on it. It's a shame we can't TM CD moves during the event but i see the logic behind it, we just have to be patient and hope we are still playing when the respective CD rolls in
