Double Candy Event?

Could go either way. im holing onto my good pokemon incase they do some thing fr double trade candy, i'd hold onto them.

I have no space to do this anymore. Luckily I am sitting on 4k larvocandy and 3.1 for ralts. I am holding to as many Mewtwo as I can before it becomes too cumbersome but I will most likely grind them a day before beldum c-day

Nobody knows. The trend in recent times is no unlimited bonuses of anything, but they could easily give candy bonus for trading again to promote it.

I envy your storage, I'm in a pickle now that I need to hold 150+ distance mons for Beldums AND catch Beldums during the CD. No idea yet what I'll do, don't really want to do a full cleanup because of the rebalancing, might change what I actually want to keep.

The past few bonus candy events have only been extra candy for catches or hatches. Even if there is bonus candy for Halloween, it might not include transferring.

You can trade pokemon that are from far apart locations to get up to 3 candy, plus an extra candy of whatever is traded to you if the IV re-roll is bad and you transfer it.

Trading them away is a great way to get more candy than transferring. I've been doing it for a few months. Traded away Snorlax, Dratini, Ralts, etc. At worst, you get 1 candy back (same as transferring) at best it's 3 candy.

As a bonus, if you're not a narcissist, you're also giving someone else a candy...or potentially a lucky mon.

I honestly think it's unlikely they will redo the same double candy event BUT since we are only two weeks away you might as well hold on to them till then and then decide what you'd like to do. Also have you condisered trading them with people who live 10 km away
? this could also be a good way to get the 2 candy and hopefully get some luckies. (if for any reason you live in Madrid i'd be down to meet up I also have some quality pokemon i'm looking to trade)
