Ttar power up question
I currently have six smack down stone edge ttar (one shiny with low IV, rest pretty good). No questions there.
I also have 3 bite crunch ttar: 98% with 14 attack, 87% lucky with 12 attack, and 87% with 13 attack (levels 33, 32, 30).
I have a shadow claw Shadow ball gengar with 15 attack at level 39, and a shadow ball 91% 15 attack Mewtwo at level 39 (I'm only level 37). So I think I only need one more Ttar - is there any reason I would need more?
Options:
Weather boosted 93% 15 attack - would cost only 44k dust and 38 candy to take to 30
Lucky shiny 93% (14-14-14) larvitar - would cost 48k dust and over 200 candy to evolve and get to level 30.
Of course, the Stardust will heavily favor the lucky one once I eventually go for 40.
Then there's the option of just continuing to raid and trade, looking for that Hundo.
So do I pick one of the above (which?), Do I wait for the hundo?
I feel like if I get the hundo after powering more, I'll power the hundo too, and probably replace the level 30 87%.

14/15/15 Dark Tyranitar is solid
As for the other two, I’d power up other options with higher attack.
I’d honestly invest in both the 14/14/14 shiny and the 93% 15 attack one. Just under 100k dust for two solid attackers (and a show off shiny) is a good investment.
That’d make your team Gengar, Mewtwo, and 3 Tyranitar. One open space for another potential Tyranitar, or another Pokémon. I’m a fan of mixing teams so I don’t constantly use the same Pokémon every fight, so maybe a Houndoom? Solid team for many upcoming raids - Deoxys, Lake Trio, Cresselia, Giratina, EX Raids
We also have Honchcrow and Weavile for non-legendary dark attackers coming with next gen (move sets pending)
+1 for mixing. How about a mon that resist fighting to prevent fainting out against focus blast, compensating for the Ttars frailty? double dark Gyarados and Pinsir come to mind. If rejoining is part of the plan, never mind though.
I'd very predictably say: if candy is the limiting factor, go for the other one. If stardust is and you intend to max it out, then the lucky one. If neither... Well, first world problems XD
I wouldn't call 87% pokemon trashy :D but that's probably because since I certainly don't have the resources and opportunity to power up 6 maxed 100% Tyranitars, I have lower expectations...
You might wait a while for a hundo. If you need to boost your team now for short manning, go ahead now. If you get a hundo later, it will always be possible to still power it up and replace an old one. Don't max them all, it's psychologically easier to replace a lvl 30ish one than a lvl 40 ;)
