Tangela counter - SA Moltres or Overheat Moltres?

With the return of Tangela as a fairly new raid boss and Moltres as the supreme counter, I'm interested which Charge move is better, near-future Sky Attack or current best Overheat? It seems from previous discussion that SA is one of the most powerful moves in the game. With its two bar advantage I'm assuming SA will make Moltres an even Supremer counter to Tangela.

This should pretty much take the guesswork out of the equation.

Indeed. I'm currently attacking with just alakazam and espeon - I can win every time, but I always need a re-entry. Hopefully a Moltres anchor can shore that up!

Use a Lugia or a Ho-Oh as an anchor. Of course, Moltres might be good in that role too, having the same typing as Ho-Oh, but less defense. Way better offense, of course, but you want your anchor to have high TDO, not high DPS (both are best, but one can't usually choose both for an anchor).

Today took me three times to beat Sludge Bomb Tangela (partly cloudy). Entei 3102cp, Moltres 3000cp, Moltres 2810cp then filler Flareon 2500cp and a level 30 100% fire Blaziken. Start at 175sec and finishes at 2 or 3 sec. First time I also had a 2405cp regular Charizard which slowed me, 2nd time put in extra Flareon and I dodged a few too many times. Initially I thought the front fire legendaries would put enough ahead to not have to closely look at the backenders, need to on this one (not sunny/sludge bomb)

Against solar beam (in sunny) the same basic team won with 43sec left. If Tangela still around, some will sometimes need an extra effective Moltres

Even in clear weather, it is still solid, though FS/OH is back on top
