So when did evolution items start appearing in gifts??

I think I saw one 3 weeks ago. So they may have been there since day 1.

With the same update that stardust started appearing in gifts I think.

Ok. I got a kings rock today and was confused

They were around before then. I'd received some Metal Coats shortly after the item nerf.

Huh, I guess I missed that. Stopped paying attention to what I'm getting after the item nerf, I click through them too fast to see what the items are.

It's not like they're common items or anything, it's pretty easy to gloss over them. I don't remember when exactly evo items were added to gifts but it was distinctly before stardust.
