My mons are healing themselves?

I don't know if this is a known thing or not. If so, sorry. I left all my Aggrons dead after being defeated so they wouldn't auto-select every time. It's been at least a month. Now two of them have like, 9HP with no potions. How does this work?

Did you power them up?

I don't think so... one is 100% so maybe that one, but I wouldn't have powered up the 93% 13 attack one for sure

????? You would not power up an excellent Mon with stats of 93% 13 attack? Is this an ethical thing? A religious thing? Do you have a mandatory threshold which is North of 93% `13 attack? I say this in jest but also with some seriousness. Sorry to be snarky but I am always amused by people who are IV obsessed (IV envy?). Go to a battle sim and you will see there is no meaningful difference between the beloved 100% and the "Red Headed Stepchild 93%".

Take it easy son. He likely meant he wouldn't specifically power up an Aggron with those stat spreads since Aggron's use is limited to say the least. I have at least one upper 90% Aggron I don't plan to use so I likely wouldn't power it up. I also have a lucky 89% shiny Dragonite with 13 attack that I'm slowly powering up to max out. It all depends on the specific Pokemon, not the IV spread.

Yes, it's an Aggron thing. I haven't put a single bit of dust into my Aggrons. Caught a level 35 96% Aron during a blizzard here, evolved it, got double steel moves, that's pretty much all I need.

Collecting 100% pokemon is a thing, and hundo collectors will be just about as excited about getting a 100% Butterfree as a 100% Rayquaza. For battle, though, anything in the 90%+ range is great - species and level matter a lot more.

Unless you have powered then up.

Maybe I did. I have tons of dust so I might have. Didnt know powering up a fainted mon would do that

I used to do that all the time to save revives in the old gym system. It works as long as the power up adds at least 1HP, which is not a sure bet after L30.

Aggron has his place as a niche 6th possition tank against steel or rock weakness and occasional gym sweep. He is just overused due to being favored by autoselect.

If partly cloudy weather is uncommon where u live or you have a 100% then powering an Aggron might be ok, otherwise just catch a boosted Aron & evolve that.
