TTar evolve and powerup question

I have a level 25 boosted 10/15/15 TTar that I got from a friend after trading. I saw that Bite has a really low breakpoint, and I was wondering if it would make sense to power it up for my Mewtwo team. I don't have 6 Bite/Crunch TTars yet and this along with a 13/15/13 level 25 TTar is the highest I have.

Another trade got me a level 35 84% IV Larvitar with 15 attack, and I'm wondering if I should evolve that for Bite/Crunch. it goes straight to 3340 CP after evolve.

Basically I'm trying to build my Mewtwo team (non FB) and had questions about whether or not to include these 3 in that team

Tyranitar is currently the best dark type attacker in game, using it shouldn't even be a question. Absolutely evolve the level 35 one, a premier attacker with zero dust investment is too good to pass up.

Between your other two I'd pick the 13/15/13 over the 10/15/15 (assuming a/d/s/ IVs). You can't really go wrong with any raid/egg quality Tyranitar, though with it being a current and relatively easy raid boss I'd be tempted to try for a higher attack IV one first. Especially if partly cloudy is common in your area.

I would power it up if it was Lucky but not at full Stardust cost. Especially when Houndoom is just as good as TTar and you can find boosted houndors in the wild and make a team of 30-35 Houndooms with 0 stardust cost.

The thing is you go through almost 2 Houndoom for every one Tyranitar, your picture even shows this. Houndoom's availability relies on if you have a Houndour nest near you as well which may not be the case. I may be an odd case but I've seen more wild Larvitar than I have wild Houndour near me.

I think its more of 1 1/2 Houndoom per 1 Tyranitar. I go in with Gengars and I don't even reach the 4th one by the time Mewtwo is dead and thats with a group of 8 Mewtwo isn't a big enough threat to invest 6 Ttars.

Still, for me it's an availability thing. Weirdly I can reliably get more Tyranitar resources than I can Houndoom resources. Your results may (and apparently clearly) differ.

And either way, OP asked about the level 35 wonder with perfect attack. That should be an obvious no brainer.

Wow, i'm jealous, i've never even found a wild houndour, or a wild larvitar without some kind of event (the CD or the earthday event)

Even thought its harder to get candy for a tyranitar, i agree its still the better option, lasts a lot longer, and you dont suffer that DPS drop from fainting, (plus its a lot more future proof)

I do have a 96 IV Houndoom from research, but it's difficult to find interest for Houndoom raids. TTar raids people are still willing. Not to mention right now partly cloudy and cloudy is more prevalent where I live, so finding a boosted TTar is easier than finding a boosted Houndoom.
