Pokecoin error

Has anyone else gotten an error while purchasing coins? I sent niantic a message, did the sign out and restart and still do not have the coins so I responding to their email telling them neither step worked. The payment is in my account. Does anyone know how long this will take to be resolved??

You can request a refund through the App Store or Play Store.

I saw that option. Am I better off requesting a refund than waiting for Niantic Support to help me out?

Apple once gave me the coin, yet still refunded my money due to my confusion of the receipt notification process. They are very good on handling those!

Update: This appears to be due to a bug with the Google Play Store.
