Do you have any quirks?
Besides getting a good gang of mons for gym fighting, do you have any more peculiar collector quirks?
Mine are:
- Getting >80IV with best or very good defense/attack moves for all (evolved) pokemons. Almost there, still lacking an >80% Aerodactyl.
- Getting 12 (first page) pokemons above 3000 CP, and all five possible types, (now at 16).
- Getting all my 100% IV mons to max level (38.5). So far 4 out of 10.
- Always pushing level up above even numbers (3000, 2000, 2500, 2300 etc)
- Always keeping my 98% Ninetail maxed out, just because I love the power up animation :-)

Yes I keep a team of Mons to max out if I ever have spare resources. Your love for Ninetails is my love for Arcanine. Lol big dog person so obviously always gravitated towards Arc lol try and keep my main one maxed at all times. I also like keeping a gang of Omanaytes, Lickitungs, and Shellders to put up in level 10 gyms I took down. Just for fun purposes since Valor owns this area. A single Mystic player versus a army of Valors lol.
Sometimes when I have too much candy, I'll evolve something super low level, with high IVs. Just because it makes no sense.
I currently have a 91% IV Poliwrath with Bubble/Submission sitting at a cool 33cp, and his big brother, a 97.8% IV Poliwrath with Mudshot/Hydropump with 34cp
After all, I couldn't just transfer a 44/45 IV pokemon....
Right now I'm sitting on a 10cp Magikarp with 91%ish IVs too....
Great question.
-I can't bring myself to transfer any of my vaporeons. I have dozens of them. (Not trying to humble brag... Eevees are everywhere.)
-I need to have one of every Pokémon with the best attacking move set. I give them all a special name.
-My first catch Pokémon (a cp12 Bulbasaur) goes into every battle with me, even though he doesn't fight. Although sometimes I accidentally let him get blasted :(
-I have a bite/bulldoze Arcanine named Grunter. I don't transfer him because I feel sorry for him. He's "special".
-I have a cp429 Gyrados that I got when I accidentally evolved a magikarp that I meant to transfer. I keep him around to remind me to avoid making stupid mistakes. (Btw, he's the only hydropump Gyrados that I've ever gotten... go figure... he's still useless)
But quirks? No... not really.
- I need to have 3 of every strong Pokémon next to each other when sorting by name. I have named the Pokémon accordingly so every row consist of 3 same Pokémon (mostly different movesets though)
- I have always chosen the higher IV Pokémon to power up even if it was 20 levels lower than the other. Hence my lack of stardust
- I need to sit on at least 200 ultra balls always
- I refuse to use low IV Pokémon
- Keeping at least one of each species
- Keeping all level 1 fully evolved wild catches with best attacking moveset (currently a CP 36 Pinsir, 32 Slowbro, 32 Jynx, 31 Cloyster, 31 Tauros, 29 Magneton, 23 Butterfree, 23 Beedrill, 21 Marowak, and 19 Raticate)
- Never taking a spot in a gym that someone else is currently working for (unless they started prestiging after I had already started)
- Kind of hoping that my first Porygon is level 1 with 0% IV just because that seems incredibly unique
