I have seen others stating they had the timer cut short by 1-5 seconds, but for its 30 seconds, every time.
I only recently managed to get back into Pokemon Go (old phone died, had to replace with a junker because budget, recently got a a nice S9) so Raid battles are still fairly new to me.
another issue i am finding is that when it comes to raids, even though the little help guide says I'm supposed to start with 180 seconds, i start with 120, and it ends at 30 seconds remaining. I spend 120 seconds in the waiting room, then my timer starts at 120, ends at 30, and for some reason it wont let me select my higher CP pokemon, i click to add them to my party, and it puts a lower CP mon in the spot instead.
Though it's a common but that raid start at 170 and end at 10 seconds; 30 seconds is pretty extreme. This bug seems to hit Androids worse. I haven't found a rhyme or reason yet. One day a given gym will work fine, the next I get the time thief bug.
Restarting your phone right before helps, but doesn't always eliminate the bug.
so far it has happened 4 days in a row, and since i dont exactly have the budget to buy extra passes, thats 4 passes i have pretty much wasted, although the one today wasn't due to the weird thing with the timer.
Today it was someone trying to call me, which forced me out of the game even though i hit decline (it was a telemarketing number)
