How to catch lunatone?

I mostly see them on -- and a few hours after -- sunset. Especially in clear weather with a full moon.

They seem to spawn between 10pm and 8am here in germany (gmt+2).
They are very rare, even under the right conditions - and this event doesn't help it.

It's rare. Would be surprised if you manage to catch one in only a few days. Best answer would be to stay up as late as you can, and sleep during the day. By luck, I caught one that appeared at my home shortly before the Earth Day event.
