If Electrode could learn self destruct could it be a glass cannon?

All these Voltorb got me thinking, what if electrode could learn self destruct? Do you think it could become a 'glass cannon and gain the DPs similar to zapdos and raikou? If it could, I'd be down for a Voltorb community day lol.

I think it would be a grenade.

Depends on the amount of damage it will do.

Maybe 200 in 3.7 seconds? And also, still without the side effects, so technically you can do 200 power without taking any damage.

I don't mind a very OP Self Destruct that does like 240 base damage AND takes Electrode out entirely. Still might not be optimal in many cases, but represents an improvement over Electrode as it is.

Any kind of mechanic that adds to this game i'm ok with

Imagine taking a kamikaze team of 6 Electrode to a raid battle and detonating them all within the first 40 seconds.

This could fit into the game, especially if you were a bit undermanned in a raid. When your A-team gets knocked out, it might be helpful to have a team of powered up Electrodes with Self-Destruct ready to go and throw them into the last 30-40 seconds of the battle.
