Gastly Bubbletrat Question
Hi all,
As gyms are taken down so easily these days. I usually try to use bubbletrat whenever it is possible - a rural gym, build up to level 7-8 in ~15-20', put my team with 4 trainers in and leave the other empty slots for some lucky ones passing by :)
I try many options: Horsea, Poliwag and Gastly. I just want to ask about Gastly as Sucker Punch is quite fast, its CD time is 0.7" so my attacker is always get hurt. One potion is relatively cheap compared to time and effort to build a level 7-8 gym. My Gastly CP is 25 and attacker Magnemite CP 12.
Have anyone tried this before? Can you share your experience?

Thank for your reply.
Actually, we are a team, all are active trainers, not fake accounts. We play since the game was released in my country and all reach level 30 and above. We don't have such things like 100%IV Snorlaxes and Dragonites, but we know how to build a gym that will be well_defended by a mix of Vaporeons/Exeggutors/Snorlax or Gyarados.
Even without bubbletrat, we can build a level 10 gym by put in a ~3000CP Gyarados and train with ~1500CP Jolteons - I think you know these mons are availble everywhere.
Bubbletrat is a strategy that was discovered and tested by many hardcore trainers in the world. Everyone in this forum knows about it and even uses it without saying it out. I just want to share information and experience between us.
So I really hope to receive more information from all trainers here.
Best regards,
We use 3 horseas and i got a 10 cp ghastly with lick, my friend a pikachu 10 cp with thundershock, and the other one has both ghastly and bellsprout whit whip, and it works perfectly. We tested also pidgey defending versus pika attacking and it works most of the times, instead a Suckerpunch ghastly has not worked for us neither in attack nor in defense.
I suggest to use only horsea, poliwag and pidgey (if you don't have one of the water type above), and attack with whip, thundershock or lick vs water and thundershock vs pidgey
We've experienced this as the most efficient and consistent way to up our gyms. :)
Thank you very much.
I have two horseas, one 23CP and the other 24CP, all 10HP, as of attackers I have 12CP Magnemite with Spark, 11CP Bellsprout with Vine Whip and they work perfectly.
I tried Poliwags too, but I can only power up Poliwag one time to CP ~17-18 with 10HP, if I power up once more its HP will be up to 12-13 then I often fail to bubbletrat.
