Dear Niantic - Give us a game corner!

I think adding a game corner to Pokémon Go would provide a fresh, new way to have fun. They could add a new currency to the game strictly for use at the game corner, just because I think using the current coins would be a bad idea. Here we could gamble our coins on slots, roulette, or even voltorb flip for rewards or exchange them for guaranteed items like rare candies and stardust. They could also throw in a reference to Team Rocket and allow select Pokémon to be bought at the game corner. Any other thoughts?

So you want the 2 most valuable items in the game to be bought with real money. Also to add in gambling in-game. Honostly niantic stock holders would love this but I would rather they focus on fixing current problems. Then adding in in-game gambling. The only way this would be decent is if you got currency for this like the 50 coins a day cap. If not then game would tilt to pay to win more.

Even Nintendo had to change the gambling to something else in the original games. Plus there was that CS:GO scandal about game gambling. So as much as Niantic would love this, they'd probably have a difficult time avoiding problems with it. Though the RNG itself is kind of like gambling.

Yeah I see what you're saying. There's plenty of ways to make it work, but I think it would be important so the game corner coins couldn't be purchased with real money. Almost like getting an "allowance" of some coins for completing a quest or something along those lines. I also feel like the odds of winning and drops would have to be rare and small so people don't have maxed out teams in a month (i.e 1 in 20 chance for a rare candy or two). It would just be a nice little bonus to those who aren't super involved in raids.

I think poke centers here and there would be nice, save potions and revives. Occasionally sell things for a limited time.

Now this is a better idea. To have them be few so as too not not have people totally disregard revives and potions.

Post this on their twitter, there's really not much you can accomplish by posting this here.
