Skip time 180/300s time limit on raids
For players in rural areas or who play at odd hours (early morning) this would solve a lot struggle.
As long as you do not use up the 45 min raid window you are free to keep going. It might cost loads of potions/revives but you would be able to solo a legendary if you got a decent team.
Niantic would sell more raids passes to rural areas and probably a lot more full revives as well. win/win
Of course, big teams do it at a fraction of the time and cost. So I can´t see it having any bad impact.

I agree NorthbyNorth. It would not force hard core group raiders to change their game play. It would give those willing to commit the resources, rural and casual players, a chance to at least fill their Pokedex.
At the moment the game seems heavily skewed toward mass group raids. Not much of a challenge there. Like catching fish with a grenade. So much for a health conscious app when 90% of trainers in suburbs turn up in a car.
The majority of trainers who complain about a "potion shortage" are hard core group raiders. Solo-able raid bosses would level the playing field to some degree.
I still keep a red ball before purple potion anyday. A Solo-able MewTwo... that would be quite an achievement. I would cherish that badge.
