Feebas 20k Walk

Hi can anyone who's evolved their feebas tell me if the 20k you need to walk adds to any contribution to your candy count?

So assuming feebas is a 5k, can I walk it when I've achieved 96 candy and get it to 100 candy and evolve it once the 20k is up?

Yes...you get candy for the walking.

I have not done it personally, but I get the info from a reliable friend who has done it.

I collect 99 candy and walk 20 km. Then I have 103 candy when I could evolve it.

I’ve walked 2 Feebas 20k. 5k per candy works like every other candy. However, it just shows you the progress bar on the Feebas page—think of that 20k like a sunstone, dragonscale, metal coat. Fill up the bar, have 100 candy. Evolve.

Yes you can. I've walked one at like 94 candies, caught another one then walked 20km, i got milotic.
