Spoofer question

I understand how spoofers cheat by utilizing phone GPS to augment their location. But sometimes they also manage to add Pokemons to a gym I'm attacking. For example, yesterday I tried attacking a gym that had 2 Pokemon in it. When I defeated the two, there were already two additional monsters (#3 and 4) in the gym. How do they manage to enter a gym I'm attacking? Naturally, there was no one near the gym physically, so 100% they were spoofers. When I try to add a Pokemon to a gym being attacked, I get a "This gym is under attack" message. How do they manage to do it?

its a trick that can be done by anyone using a hack called magic to streamline mon to gyms instantaneously. the trick only works within a 10 minute window of the initial mon being streamlined.

There is a 10 min window after you knock the first Mon out of a gym that no one can put another in. If you haven't yet knocked any Mon they can add their own.
