Shinys just arrived [they didnt]

Very doubtful since Staryu's shiny in the game is a silvery coloured body, the same yellow frame, and a blue gem

Not even in Pokémon Stadium 2, where the colour palettes were different hence the shinies were different, is Staryu coloured in this way

I can trust the deviant-art one since (having caught both Shiny Golbat and Lugia in gen 2 it matches up)

Sorry, but the guy who made that video, which I couldn't get to load, commented and said that it went away upon restart, so I would just ignore that. Shinies are apparently in the code, but they probably haven't been released.
