Eevee near extinct?

We were clear forever, now we've been cloudy forever...pokedex says I've caught 1110 eevee...also says I've caught 707 weedle and 404 caterpie...I now only see/catch eevee when the right partly cloudy weather.

I did catch 4 magikarp today (1 spawned in my living room) after complaining how they were gone (dratini really is gone though)

Gulpin, Roselia are very common now. Useful ones though: Torchic are everywhere and caught 50 Makuhita.

There seems to be different weather spawn clusters that show up. I've seen tons of eevees show up during partly cloudy, but sometimes its tons of another normal. We had three windy days in a row last week and I saw exeggcutes everywhere after not seeing them for a long while.

Their spawns are just diluted by the event.

I am also experiencing a sudden shortage in Eevee. Likewise with Magikarp, which used to be common trash here.

Eevee has always been rare for me. I had to look for a nest and if i was lucky I'd find a decent Eevee among them. Hatching rarely yielded any good ones. I have yet to find one that i can turn into an Espeon and actually upgrade, even though I got an Espeon for the entry.

Eevees got replaced by skittys in my area during a partly cloudy weather, anyway I expect them to come bak after the event ends

I agree. Right after the weather buff started, caught several L30+ eevee in the upper half of the appraisal. Last 2 weeks for sure nothing above L30 or top tier when partly cloudy.

Yes it sucks, I was bagging great 800+cp eevees in bunches. Now I can hardly find even crappy eevees. At least now I caught an 87% Lv 35 skitty evolved into a 12xx delkatty. Wah wah

The current event, which saw the release of 20 new Gen 3 Pokemon, also saw an increase in the spawn rates or the previous 50. Skitty is up, but Eevee is down. When the event ends, I think we'll be back to the days of good Eevee spawns in partly cloudy weather.
