DT Gyarados? What is it good for?

So I’ve already gone ahead and TM’ed my best Gyarados to W/HP, but what about these other moveset combos? Which would be the better way to go? Especially these B/O ones.

Definitely keeping as is:
3027 W/HP
2818 DT/O
2741 B/C

The rest are up for suggestions. I have 550 Karp candy so I can always try for a better W/HP one. Should I TM DT/HP to DT/O or W/HP or even simply keep it?

TM to Waterfall.

We made fun of Gyarados for being almost worthless for 2.5 months...then we forgot about Gyarados for another 2.5 months. Its only chance is to have water moves

Here are mine, and I'm happy with the moves mine has...5 water gyarados; 1 dragon; a shiny dark...I have 1 magi candy left...my 100% water is stuck for now. (Walking Feebas candy). You listed 3 to keep as is, that leaves 5 others (ignoring shiny)...I would change any you have or will take to 2700+ to WF/HP

You have two Gyaradoses with DT/HP, which is good for gym defence (if that matters in your area), so you can FTM one to WF and keep the other. DT/C and B/OR are useless; get those changed to WF/HP as long as you can spare the TMs (and need water attackers).

I have 2 B/Cr Gyaradoses at L30 and L34.5, and recently evolved another L30, 96% Karp and got B/Cr. FTMed that one to Wf/Cr for gym defence for now. Will TM it to HP when I get more CTMs.

The plural of all Pokémon (and the word Pokémon itself) is the same as its singular.

That's what I thought in my head when I saw the title lol. Reminded me of rush hour hehe.

I guess what I’m asking is how useful are double dark and double dragon moves? And does double water trump all?

I could CTM B/O and if I get Crunch leave it or if it gets HP TM to waterfall. But is W/HP that much better it’s worth using extra TM’s even if I get Crunch?
