Gen 3 annoying mon

What's the annoying gen 3 Mon that appears in your immediate area the most? Mine is gulpin. Doesn't matter the weather... they are always there.

Roseleia. It's like the new Murkrow: Hard to catch + useless + new evolution in gen4 but still useless

I found most of these surprisingly easy to catch, even at 1400+. Great ball + curveball + Razz berry.

I'd rather feed Razz berries to get some dust (and save time) than wasting them on Roseleia, just my personal habbit

In nice weather using one razz to catch a rose will get you 5 more dust than feeding it. Although, even though I say that, I don't bother trying too hard to catch them myself either.

The most common here by far seems Zigzagoon. Then Skitty, Roselia, Minun, Poochyena, Gulpin.

Of previous generations, Jigglypuff, Evee, Oddish and Hoppip are everywhere thanks to the dominant weather.

I'd definitely take Eevee any day. I could use an Eevee fest considering I'm still hunting for a perfect Eevee to get an Espeon lol.

None!!!! I barely see Gen 3 mons. I must have caught more than 100 yesterday And I don’t think I saw more than 5 Gen 3 mons. Pretty disapointing.
Although when I see Gen 3 I see mostly zigzagoon.

Minun. It's everywhere. It evolves into nothing. It's boring.

Plusle started off as a commodity in my area when Gen 3 released, but he doesn't show up as often as he initially did now that Gulpin has taken over. Wish I could see a Minun or two.

Minuns apparently are region-locked so your area only has Plusles. I rarely see a Gulpin, took a while until I've evolved mine into a Swalot. Now I want to find a female one to add to the collection. Minun just isn't that entertaining because it doesn't have much in terms of attack or defense or hp, has no evolution, no gender differences, so the only reason I still catch them is to just seek the best one. But if I'm running out of balls, I'll just ignore them.

Yeah, same here. If I ever do run into a perfect one, I might power it up just to have it as a trophy, but nothing more (unless abilities become a thing in this game, of course, things could get interesting).

I love blaming Niantic but In fairness you can't blame Niantic for the existence of that pokemon. It ranks with shuckle and dunsparce as one of the most boring and pointless pokemon ever invented.

On the other hand if Niantic made you do a quest or something to catch it rather than just blandly releasing them in the wild like everything else, it would be more interesting

In the original game, Plusle and Minun had their use because of their abilities Plus and Minus. If you had these 2 in a double battle, they'd become stronger. But since GO doesn't have those, at least not yet, many of these critters are just dex fillers.
Even ol' Shuckie used to make berry juice and apparently rare candy in the first game it was introduced. Imagine if you could Buddy your Shuckle and get 1 rare candy per some Km... That would make Shuckle more useful.

And if Rare Candy producing sounds too OP, then at least Shuckle could make berry juice, which would be a potion. Some people were ranting about not having enough potions, this could help them.

Those would be cool new features to add the the game, we'd all be after Shuckles! Alas Pokemon GO is so one dimensional..

depends on how they made that rare candy. by turning in to the professor? Yes, then we'd try to catch 100 of those guys. By walking? Then we'd only need 1.

I was thinking by walking them and every... how many km does a legendary get candy? That many km, they'd get a rare candy.
Or if players would rather keep catching, then either shuckle has to be very rare for the sending to professor to be done (otherwise nest finders would be sitting on top of candy) or you'd still need to walk them a bit before sending them.

Yeah I have to agree, I would never run either in double battles. Even in LC, a 50% boost to each of them (both electric types out simultaneously) does little

Maybe a doubling of attack would make them more useful if we had double battles. Then there's weather and the STAB moves + Super Effectiveness if used vs water or flying types.

That's a very specific situation though, I know you are trying to shed light on their usefulness but their terribly low base stat totals (405?) are holding them back

Even then, I feel like they would be outclassed by a number of higher base stat total electric types :/

Now if double battles were to come around and abilities were to be added, possibly reducing the cooldowns on both charge and fast attacks would be something I would mess with

I never encounter a Gen3 Pokemon

Gulpin are everywhere here, too. I have so many candies for this little critter already, it's pretty nuts haha. Also a mix of Poochyena, Skitty, Makuhita, Zigzagoon, Plusle, and Wurmple, with an occasional sight of Zangoose, Electrike, and Treecko. Unlike Gulpin, however, I actually enjoy catching the rest of them, especially Skitty. Her attack animation is adorable lol.

None, really. The one I see the most is probably Seedot (cuz weather), and I actually kinda like that line.

Gulpin, stop appearing and opening your mouth at me!

They should have changed the animation so it actually swallows the ball rather than having it bounce off the open mouth.

Zigzagoon.

Lots of Plusle when I am in the city, but generally it has been Gulpin.
