What are “weather effects” on you as a player?
For me:
1- About 50% of my previous level 28-30 keepers are headed for the Proffesor.
2- Incubators are worth even less to me now.
3- There are too many Pokemon out there for me. Most of the time I don’t even click on a mon if it isn’t interesting, a 12-candy evolve, or under weather boost.

EXTREME WEATHER!!!!
I know that where i live is not in any danger of the fire in ventura country but still getting that message and theres no smoke in the air like it was last week but prior to that its usually windy or sunny which is both great since it got me a good iv seedot and roselia. Im really only going for the gen3 mon and even then I dont see them pop out much. I only catch the boosted weather pokemon as theyll give me a bit more stardust and only looking for the mawhile and abosl raids which pop up when im not available to do them.
I never thought our (usually) sunny, clear Florida weather would be a "problem".... but I noticed that "weather mon" replaced a lot of the water types at a lake park, where you used to get a lot of Magikarp and at least one Dratini per visit, and that's not OK.
Never mind the extreme weather alert when the temperature dropped slightly below freezing. ...
