Another buddy question
I will pick the following Pokémon for buddies to power up or evolve them, hope for opinions and suggestions:
Snorlax to power up, lick/HB, high IV, caught in the wild, stardust 1300, 1 candy, quite rare.
Dratini to evolve, still hoping my first dragonair and Dragonite, 17 candies, dragonair is even rarer than Dragonite in my area.
Doduo to evolve, 35 candies, extremely rare.
Primeape with LK/CC to power up, 91.1% IV with 5 candies, current buddy.
Machoke to evolve, 48 candies.
Ponyta to evolve, 24 candies, not common.
Magnetmite to evolve, 23 candies, not common.
Shellder to evolve, 35 candies, never encountered.
Grimer to evolve, 21 candies, never encountered.
Exeggcute to evolve, 18 candies, not common.
Koffing to evolve, 28 candies, not common.
Tentacool to evolve, 18 candies, common in the sightings, rare appearing.
Answers
My priority has always been the pokedex first, until I got the complete pokedex (without the other regionals) I did not start walking pokémon to power up. So I would go for dratini first (for me at least has become the most rare mon after Lapras, I have found 3 snorlax on the last 15 days and only 2 dratinis lol), and after you get dragonite then go for the most rarer mon of the 5km list (probably grimer and koffinng, the other ones you will regret I think, they are very more common from 5km eggs even if you don't get them on the wild)
