Heracross users, I need opinions.

Being in a regional exclusive area, outside of my current residence, I have acquired a few Heracross. I want to make one my buddy due to the rarity in the region. The question I have is is it a better fighting Pokemon or bug Pokemon? I guess this is a question going forward with Gen 3. Would it be wiser to focus on one with fighting skills or bug skills, provided it may get better from both with a move update. Thanks!

Fighting, but secundair to Machamp. I used it before TMs were introduced. These days I only use it as a matchup against earthquake Snorlax.

Don't buddy it unless for specific reasons. But then again, what else to do buddy these days anyway.

I have about 40 Heracross candy, I recently stopped buddying it. I got 2 of them over T-day both 55% 2057 and 1970 both were born double fighting. I'm gonna leave these alone, put them in gyms when a Blissey is already in and they are probably equal to my 7th or 8th Machamp when I use a ton of fighters

Got a 2500 Heracross with double fighting and I love him. He might not be as good as Machamp overall but he can still smoke Blissey and Snorlax in gyms. I'd say it's worth powering at least one of them .

I live in South America, where we have lots of Heracross.

It is better to use him as a fighter, because bug moves are used against psychic types, like Mewtwo, Celebi, Exeggutor, which are super effective against Fighters.

For bug attackers Scyzor and Pinsir are better options
