Dragonite moveset

My 100% lvl.2 Dragonite has finally reached lvl. 38 (max for my trainer level), but I’m in doubt about the moveset.

Currently he has DB and Hurricane, yet I believe DT and Outrage has a better damage output. But on the other hand, DB is a legacy move… So any suggestions?

I would go for Outrage if you have the TMs but keep DB (assuming you don’t already have a powered up Outrage one).

I disagree, I find that outrage's brutal (3.9s?) cooldown defeats the purpose of running dragon breath, as outrage leaves dragonite vulnerable for a relatively long period of time

I'd keep it as is. You can get another DT/O, but you'll never be able to get another one with DB, and DB pairs really well with hurricane.

BTW, I have a DB/DP Dragonite also, and I'm waiting to see if there are any changes to dragon pulse before I TM it. If I do end up TM'ing it, I'd be happy to get hurricane.

db's advantage in favor of dt is the fact that it allows dragonite to increase its probability to avoiding damage, making it last significantly longer, even though it may output a little less damage compared to dt

hurricane's short cooldown bodes well with dragon breath's cooldown. Obtaining a dt/hurricane would defeat the purpose as dt has more than twice the cool down of a single dragon breath

I'd LOVE a DB/H, so I wouldn't touch it. I have a DB/O, but I'm not willing to engage the inevitable TM roulette required to get Hurricane.

Afaik Pvp will be introduced at some point, you`ll have one of the best attackers in the game. Don`t TM it.

TMing away Dragon Pulse was very stupid to begin with. It's a STAB legacy move!

I made my dB dragonite db/h, and spent a few TM to do it, because I wanted a nimble dragonite, for variety from my dt/o sluggers.

Leave it as is.
Db/dc is still king.
