A Tyranitar question

I have an IT/C Tyranitar that I use primarily as a defender. I also have a B/C Tyranitar that I am powering up as Ty candy becomes available.

Question - should I use one of my 3 Fast TMs to change IT to Bite? I feel that between my Blissy and Snorelax and score of others I already have a good defensive arsenal, but can definitely use more attackers, especially of Tyranitar statue.

Thanks

I would. Tyranitar is a terrible defender, so you might as well make him into an attacker, especially if you've powered it up. You'll get a lot more benefit from your investment that way.

Defense is pretty irrelevant in the current meta anyway. You could put a raid boss in each of the 6 gym slots, and someone could still take it down (although it would be a lot tougher).

It's possible that defense will become important again. I'm not giving my powered up Blissey and Snorlax to the professor, but they haven't seen much action lately. But for now, I'd TM the Ttar to get two Bite/Crunch monsters.

Ttar is a terrible defender. Many pokemon will perform better than it(defend the gym). Bite is good for him.
