1. Lugia (E/SA)
A tank and has strong move. Very high def and high hp. It's strong against many mon.

2. Vapo (WG/AT)
High attack with very high hp. Strong water move and can use his move quickly.

3. Tytan (B/SD)
Very good value. A strong attacker of overall mon.

4. Espeon (ZH/FS)
Very strong attack and high defense. A strong physic attacker of overall attacker. His attack with FS is a nightmare to many pokemon.

4. Poliwrath (B/DP)
The value is ok. DP is a horrible move. Poliwrath can resist most of or all Tytan moves. It can destroy them and Snorlax, and some Blessy?

5. Vileplume (A/SB)
High attack. The move is not bad. SB will hit painful to many mon.

6. Clefable (ZH/MB)
High hp and the value is ok. MB will punish the Dnite, Machamp and Tytan. ZH can protect him because fairy afraid poison type.

Most of them can hit many types pokemon.

1. Tyranitar B/C, very tanky, very good atgack stat and high TDO.

2. Dragonite DT/DC, great for sweeping gyms, i dodge only specials and can always dodge them (not always with outrage).

3. Lugia ES/SA, great when low on potions, can sweep entire gyms with one or two hyper potions, very strong anker.

4. Gengar SC/SB, all time favorite mon (and besides that, one of the highest neutral dps in the game and largely unresisted).

5. Machamp C/DP, being super effective against 5 different types is really helpful. Especially against the normal type with very big tanky defenders.

6. Raikou TS/WC, only weak to one type and good neutal matchups. Very fast and dodge friendly (might change this one in the future for Zapdos if charge beam gets a buff)

5 red gyaradoses and a Rhydon.

I might not be able to defeat every opponent but I will do battle in style.

1: Exeggutor C/SoB
My main Blissey attacker, pre-gym rework. Not very useful now, but I still use him against Blisseys if my Machamps are fainted.

2: Dragonite DB/DC
One of my favourite gym attackers ever. Even attacking DG Blisseys in the old system, no problem dodging. Now a gym sweeper for the final round.

3: Tyranitar B/SE
Both useful as a dark and rock attacker. Not the best in either, but good in both. Both types are important in the meta.

4: Machamp C/DP
Useful against the tanky normal type defenders everywhere. And Tyranitars.

5: Alakazam PC/FS

6: Zapdos CB/Tb
Electric attacker with the highest base attack. Raikou is better now, but Zapdos will be better in the long run.

Best versatile Generalist and favourite mon released in game so far.

Tyranitar B/C
A powerhouse of a tank able to deal with special match-ups and overall awesome Generalist.

Golem RT/SE
One of the best mon in the game, decisive with its high DPS in important raids.

Exeggutor C/SoB
Psychic and Grass awesome attacker. Deals with several weak-to-it pokemon.

Machamp KC/DP

KC is to Dodge better.

Raikou TS/WC
Yet have to prove its power...

Dragonite 100% DT/OR L39 - Best generalist in the game. Would prefer DB/DC if I had access to it.

Tyranitar 100% B/C L39 - Good high TDO generalist, will stay the best dark type attacker for a while. Might be better to TM into SE to serve as a rock-type also.

Machamp 100% C/DP L39 - Best counter to many relevant matchups for now. Unlikely to be replaced by gen 3 unless a moveset nerf happens.

Vaporeon WG/HP hp14a15d13 L39 - Best water mon at the moment, good TDO.

Exeggutor C/SoB hp12a15d15 L37 - High neutral DPS, great grass specialist.

Rhydon MS/EQ hp15a15d12 L39 - Super high stats and will likely get a moveset buff in the future.

All the L39 will become L40 as soon as double stardust ends (not spending any while it lasts) and plan to take a Raikou up to L36 which would make this list over Eggy or Rhydon. If my Lugia was powered higher it would also make the list but it's only at L30. Obviously would include Mewtwo if I had one.

3. Raikou (TS/WC) (95.6) 15/14/14

6. Entei (FS/FT) (93.3) 15/15/12
just a little something to defeat Steel and Grass if encounter and he looks cool

honourable mention

1. Tyranitar: B/SE: Deals with Psychic, Ghost, and Flying. Durable beast.

2. Dragonite: DB/O: Incredible all-around neutral damage. Softens up gyms in full first rounds and rarely a bad raid choice.

3. Machamp: C/DP: Deals with big Normals plus the occasional Rhydon, Lapras, and Ttar.

4. Raikou: TS/WC: Deals with Water and Flying. Good neutral damage as well. Few poor match-ups.

5. Mewtwo: PC/SB: Deals with Fighting, Ghost, Poison & Psychic.

6. Vaporeon: WG/AT: Deals with Rock, Fire, and Ground. Easy to dodge for increased staying power with just a slight reduction in brute potency vs. Hydro Pump.

HM: Exeggutor: C/SoB: Effective all over the current meta.
