Whats your guess, will this be legendaries or Gen 2? Regardless, how will you prep for this? Save your stardust?

My guess is they will be releasing Legendaries and Mewtwo.

If this were about Gen 2, they will simple be saying "Gen 2 is coming!"... no just "new pokemon".

Besides, it actually make sense. They cannot release Gen 2 yet if the Gen 1 legendaries aren't even out yet.

If they release new pokemon (mewtwo, birds) or Gen 2 on Dec 12, I am sure it will be for the entire world but I am a little apprehensive because on the pogo website it mentions the 12/12 announcement as being for the US and partnership with a US phone carrier (Sprint).

I hope they never release legendaries. People will just use trackers to find them immediately and max them :/

...so what? They already do the same thing with Dragonite and Snorlax.

Hah yea I guess. Kinda takes the fun out of "legendary" though. Would be really cool to find a legendary and slowly power it up. It's just not the same if the gyms are packed full of them in a week.

I was so excited when I caught my first snorlax (411cp I think, I was pretty low level) I googled it and the exact words for its rarity were "myth" along with only 2 or 3 others. then I went into town a few days later and the gyms were packed with 2000+. Not cool. The game was only out for a little bit.

I think it's strange how they say it's the first addition of new Pokemon. We had ditto already. I'm also surprised that it's Sprint on 12/12, just a few days after the Starbucks one was rumored to be happening. I guess this means the Starbucks one isn't.

I think it's generation 2, since they were going to hold events for the legendaries. Also, they are calling it the first introduction of new Pokemon, and introducing three Pokemon at once isn't that many more than introducing just ditto, so it seems like they would be introducing more than that.

I don't think legendaries will be it or halt the release of gen2 really. The way I see them handling the legendaries is by huge events and that is a lot of planning.

Based on the press release I think LB/mew is more likely but im hoping for gen 2. Whatever they do release hopefully they release a schedule of some sort. Hopefully they dont just drop a Christmas event on us with little or no warning. We all have lives and commitments, a little consideration goes along way.
